Things You Needs
1. Computer
2. SP flash tool Download the latest version
3. USB chord
4. SuperSu.zip Download
5. Custom recovery for Tecno Phantom 5 (TWRP ) Download
6. If You have not installed Vcom Drivers on PC You can do that Now if you follow this link How Best To Install Vcom Drivers On your Pc In 5 Minute
7.Working brain
8. Patience

Before rooting your device first you must flash custom recovery via Sp flash tool

How To Flash Twrp Recovery On Your Phantom 5

Step 1. Connect your Phantom 5 to your PC
Step 2. Send the SuperSu to your external sdcard (not in any folder)
Step 3. Discount and put your Phone off
Step 4. After that unzip the Twrp Recovery you downloaded on your desktop inside a folder
Step 5. Launch the Sp Flash Tools
Step 6. load the scatter file from the Sp flash Tools
Step 7. Navigate and select the scatter file in the unzip Twrp folder
Step 8. Tick just recovery in the Sp flash tools
Step 9. In the select option on Sp flash tools put Download  only
Step 10. Click Download
Step 11. Connect the switched off phone (with battery inside) to the PC via USB cord
Step 12. A progress bar should start running
Step 13.Wait till you get a Success message (green circle with OK), do not interrupt before then

Take Note: Boot your Phantom 5 to recovery mode immediately after flashing via Sp flash tool to avoid loosing custom recovery you flashed 

You have successfully flash recovery on your on Phantom 5

How To Root The Phantom 5

1. After you have Booted To recovery mode
2. In the Twrp Recovery Choose install zip from sdcard navigate to the SuperSu.zip from sdcard (use volume key to scroll) and power button to select
3. After Flashing navigate back and reboot


Congratulation your are rooted
