1: Believe in the Nigerian Dream – support the production of goods made in Nigeria. Opt to purchase goods produced in Nigeria as substitute goods to imported products, though most times goods produced locally are of low quality. However, this should not deter you from continuous purchase of made in Nigeria goods. You could improvement sake send the producer your feedback, let the them know that you believe and support their product and hope they will improve on their production standards.
2: Do Not Play “Sharp Guy” With Your Tax –
There are ways to evade paying tax ( the way of a sharp guy) which by the way is a federal offense and I am certain you do not want your name on record as a criminal. For that exclusive reason do not walk down that path. Yes, I know we need all the money we can lay our hands on but be that law abiding citizen, pay your tax and encourage everyone you know to do the same.
3: Share Ideas – Sharing of business ideas may not be seen as contributing much to the growth of the economy. There! right there you got it all wrong. Whenever you share a business idea, you are solving an economic problem. The idea you consider too little maybe that one idea that will create multiple
jobs for Nigerians, reducing unemployment and contributing to the economic quota via tax and other means.
4: Invest your money – Buy shares/stock in companies (Public/Plc) this will help the firm expand its services and location therefore creating more jobs. This will benefit you also as you become a shareholder where you buy shares in any company. You’d be accorded you due
dividends by the firm.
